The symposium will be held September 29th to October 7th at its offices in Minneapolis, Minnesota USA. Three days of the symposium will be held at Rainbow Resort in the beautiful natural forests and lake country of northern Minnesota near the headwaters of the Mississippi River. The symposium will provide an overview of the US legal system and patent laws, and an in-depth seminar on patent preparation and prosecution and proceedings before the US Patent & Trademark Office. Attendees will also have opportunities to visit local businesses, law schools, a federal court and other institutions as well as to enjoy the natural beauty and scenery of Minnesota, the “Land of 10,000 Lakes”! The symposium will continue for 3 days at Rainbow Resort, with the symposium delegation leaving the resort on October 4th for a visit to the Mississippi River Headwaters and returning to Minneapolis later that day. The cost for the 3 nights lodging and meals at Rainbow Resort is $488 USD per person. Fishing equipment, boats, fishing guides, etc. will be provided free of charge by Rainbow Resort. HSML will provide roundtrip transportation to the resort at no charge. The agenda will leave time for kayaking, fishing, hiking and enjoying nature at the resort.
